What time should I arrive?

Please arrive 15-20 minutes before your course, that’s 09:10-09:15, for a 09:30 start.

 

What should I wear?

It is crucial that soft shoes with a grip are worn. Shoes with heals or office shoes are prohibited in the kitchen. Something like a trainer, plimsole or Croc is ideal. Comfortable clothing is best and aprons are provided. We ask that long hair is tied back.

 

What do I need to bring?

You need bring nothing at all as the course is all-inclusive. Please refer to your Course Details page for further information.

 

Where can I park?

We have onsite parking for up to 40 cars, are you will be able to park by our main building. Parking is free.

 

What is included in my course/experience?

Please refer to your selected course/experience details page.

 

What facilities are on site?

Indoor or Outdoor kitchen work stations (depending on weather)

Chillies, Herbs and vegetables growing on site (seasonal)

Outdoor seating area

Free parking

 

I have specific dietary requirements?

It may be possible to modify the course and ingredients to accommodate dietary requirements but please contact the office, or better still put your request in writing, addressed to hello@chilliacademy.co.uk

 

There is no guarantee that moderations can be made to course programmes. Approval will be granted on an individual basis.

 

What is the Cancellation Policy?

Please refer to the relevant section in our Terms and Conditions.

Payments, Deposits and Security

Payment is required in full to secure enrolment. Payment Details can be found on your e-ticket. Always include the e-ticket reference number as a payment reference.

 

Payment Methods and Course Confirmations

All payments online will be followed up with an email and the attached ‘ticket’ or ‘e-ticket’, this is proof of payment and also will need to be presented on arrival.

 

Transfer Policy Courses

Please note that any Transfers are always subject to availability. A transfer must be within 12 months of the original booking and remains at the sole discretion of the Principle.

 

Cancellation Policy and Refund Policy

Refunds may be requested up to 21 days of the commencement of the Course. Please note the following Administration and Handling Charges:

 

Handling Charges £8 per ticket/person.

 

Most bookings for Courses are made months in advance. It is therefore hard to resell any place(s) within 21 days of the commencement of the course date. If you want to cancel your booking within 21 days of the commencement of the course/experience, Chilli Academy will resist your place for resale to other customers. If we are unable to resell your place in the remaining time, you will forfeit any course fees associated with your booking. You may transfer the booking into the name of another person. If a person booked onto the course fails to attend for any reason, they would not be entitled to a Refund or a Transfer to another course.

 

General Statement

We reserve the right to cancel courses or change dates where necessary to accommodate the smooth running of the business and it’s portfolio of courses. In the unlikely event of a cancellation of a course we aim to provide a suitable transfer to an alternative date or course free of charge. We reserve the right to change cookery courses, content and recipes without notice. We cannot be held liable for any third-party costs, such as travel arrangements, accommodation or disruption. We recommend that you obtain the appropriate insurances.

 

Travel Insurance

We would strongly recommend travel insurance, which may provide cover in the event you are unable to attend your course through personal issues such as travel disruption, illness, sickness, bereavement of an immediate relative or other.

 

Dietary requirements, Food Allergies & Illness

We cannot guarantee any protection from allergies. We will be happy to discuss any allergy concerns you have before you book a course so you can make an informed decision whether to attend at your own risk. It is always your responsibility to advise us at the time of booking of any allergies or special requirements that may need to be taken into consideration for the duration of the course, such as diabetes.
